  1. "TINY T BIRD"
1955 was a landmark year for the Ford motor company. It was the year they introduced the Thunderbird. The car quickly gained the nickname "T Bird." To help promote the new model Ford authorized the Power Car Company to build a limited run of what became known as the Thunderbird Junior.  They were built for kids and could seat two small children or one child up to 5 feet tall. Powered by a ford starter motor and a 6 volt battery the T Bird JR. had a top speed of 5 mph. The little bird weighed in at 140 pounds.  The Jr. features the styling of it's big brother right down to the two toned red and white interior. The little bird has forward and reverse as well as a quick connect under the front for easy recharging. Over the years the original T Bird jr. has become a valuable collector item. This unit Serial # 1474 is in overall excellent condition. Own a truly rare piece of automotive history.
